I spent the day with some terrific peeps and didn’t get the time to write a fancy blog, so decided to chit chat with you this evening instead. The youth group for our church decided to have an impromptu event where all the kids (and brave parents) met at a local burger joint for lunch! It was awesome! I came because my daughter told me I was NOT embarrassing! That’s a Mother’s Gold Medal right there! Yes Ma’am! So I ate lunch with everyone, my head held high!
Yesterday I was in SOME pain when I woke up. Tuesday is my chiropractor day so I told him when I went in just how bad it was. He did a different type of mild adjustment on me and I felt better, Praise God! Today I realized I’m not in near as much pain as I have been! What a wonderful feeling to have a mild pain day! I will take it and be glad!
So today was a wonderful day, for me, to say the least.
Today is the last day of March 2010 – I just can’t wrap my mind around it. Wow! Time is going so fast. I’m reading a book with two other friends, here in town, that talked about time in the last chapter. The author described time as a raging river dragging us down stream at times. Boy isn’t that the truth? We can’t stop it, or even slow it down. I guess the best we can do is buckle up, hang on and enjoy the ride!
