Archive for August, 2009

As promised, I’ve been praying and seeking for the Lord’s guidance on which way He would like me to go with His blog. It is very clear to me that  showing others they are loved is the way He would like me to take it. It’s exciting to me, because encouragement is one of my strongest spiritual gifts, and that is what I thought the mission of my blog would be. I love it when God lets us know we are on His path!

Here is the Bible verse I found that confirms what I’m to do:

Romans 14:19 “So then, let us follow after things which make for peace, and things by which we may build one another up.” (WEB)

I have added a page about encouraging children aptly entitled Encouragement For Children. I have written letters you can personalize and print out for children. It’s important that we let them know how valuable and precious they are. AND that God loves them! Each letter will have a mention of God’s love for them. There will be letters from the favorite holiday characters that tell them about the Lord and what Jesus has done for them. I wrote these letters years ago when I dabbled with a personalized letter business for children. I know I was saving them for just the right purpose! God is so good ALL THE TIME, isn’t He?? Nothing we do is ever wasted when we are fully surrendered to Him.

Since kids are our future, encouraging them can change a nation’s future. Parents, aunts, uncles, grand parents, and other adults can use the letters I’ve written to create happy memories for the children in their lives. I am open to suggestions for types of letters you’d like to see here. Feel free to contact me and tell me your idea.

Since it’s August and school is on the minds of most people, I have started out with a letter for littler children returning to school from “Book Worm”. All that’s needed to create one of these fun letters is for you to copy the letter and paste it in your favorite word processing program, personalize it for the recipient, and print it off! I will include a graphic for the letter as well.

Make sure to come back often to see what other letters and ideas I will post on the encouraging children page. I think it is going to be very fun to build!

In His Love,

~ Cee
